FishTips 2023/2024 College Tournament Contingency Program
I. Winning Contingency Money
- Post tips regularly on the FishTips marketplace, and FishTips will award you an extra $3000.00 of prize money when you win an ACA/ BASS or MLF College event.
- You may still be eligible for a partial payout even if you haven’t been posting tips regularly. You can instead post a tip for the tournament body of water after you’ve won the event. This “forgiveness” payout will be half the regular amount. Other eligibility rules still apply.
- There are no fees or costs required to participate in this program. See below for other important conditions and details.
II. Eligibility and Rules
- General requirements
- YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE FOR THE CONTINGENCY PROGRAM PRIOR TO WINNING ANY EVENT TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY PAYOUTS. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED TO THIS RULE.
- Registration for the contingency program is free. You must register a regular FishTips account just like any other seller on the FishTips marketplace in order to receive payouts.
- You must be a full- or part-time college student on a college fishing team.
- Only ACA/ BASS or MLF College tournaments are eligible for payouts under this promotion. You must win the event, and must abide by all local, state, and federal regulations.
- You must contact FishTips after your win and provide proof of finish to be awarded any contingency payout.
- You must follow the FishTips Instagram and TikTok pages.
- All payouts will be made in United States dollars. All funds will be sent to the linked bank account in the winner’s FishTips profile. Your bank account must have a US-based address.
- Tip posting requirements
- For full payout of $3000.00
- The participant must have posted a minimum of six new tips on fishtips.com in the three months prior to winning the event. The best way to ensure eligibility for this criteria is to consistently post at least two tips per month.
- Qualifying tips under this promotion can be for any fishable species, and for any fishable body of water available on the FishTips marketplace. This can include species other than bass, and can also include saltwater tips.
- For half payout of $1500.00 (“forgiveness payout”)
- Participants who have not posted at least six qualifying tips prior to winning the event can still post a tip for the competition body of water afterwards.
- All other requirements of the promotion still apply. YOU MUST REGISTER ONLINE FOR THE CONTINGENCY PROGRAM PRIOR TO WINNING ANY EVENT.
- This “forgiveness” payout will be half the amount of the full payout, or $1500.00.
- Under no circumstances will any participant be eligible for more than one type of payout per event win.
- Tips posted on FishTips.com must be shared to at least one personal social media account with an active clickable link which can be found on each tip after it is posted and active.
- For full payout of $3000.00
III. Other Terms and Conditions
- This promotion ends at midnight on December 31, 2023.
- FishTips reserves the sole and exclusive right to determine eligibility for any and all payouts under this promotion.
- FishTips also reserves the right to update or change any of the rules or requirements of this promotion with reasonable notice to participants. Reasonable notice under this requirement will include email messages sent to the account registered by the participant on FishTips.
