This upper part of cooper river is a unique fishery and different from the rest of our inshore fishing because this brackish area sets up more like freshwater than traditional marshland. While fall and winter we mostly fish big school and structure in the bank, I have found during the hot months the fish spot out and cruise around. Here are my two best creeks where you can find a variety of sight fish. To be productive you must do this in a small boat or kayack and you will need to have a low tide in the morning or evening so the fish are actively feeding.
