I breakdown my strategy and approach to the grass bite for targeting better quality largemouth and smallmouth bass bite, both on pool 8 of the Upper Mississippi River in La Crosse. For the largemouths, this tip focuses on one pattern, two baits, and exactly what kind of cover to look for and where to find it. For the smallmouths, I had four baits that really shined during the week and I will also describe what kind of places to look for when you get out there. Fun place!
