After spending the vast majority of my life with a fishing rod in my hands, I decided 5 years ago that I would share my experiences and knowledge with anyone who was willing to learn. I took a major hiatus from the fishing world back in 2017. If you search on YouTube, I was one of the first anglers in the world to show the masses how to tie an FG knot back in 2010. Fishing is a never ending puzzle, and I'm always learning and adapting to new ideas and techniques on the water.

Lake Texoma is where I call home, and have spent the past 4 years dialing in trophy smallmouth, and largemouth on this lake. I can confidently say, that no one in the state of Texas catches more or bigger smallmouth bass year after year than I do. I have learned to pattern and predict how the fish will position based on any number of variables and situations during different times of the year.

The very first "lake" that I ever fished was Lake Texoma back in 1987 with my dad. We fished for striper exclusively back then. Now, I enjoy catching all species, but none more than the smallmouth bass, and giant largemouth on this lake. I currently hold the Catch and Release record for Largemouth Bass on this lake, and have mulitple awards from Texas Parks and Wildlife for my giant smallmouth catches with several over 6 pounds to my name. I currently hold records on Lake Texoma, The Gulf of Mexico, and also hold a state record.

Spreading fishing literacy is my passion. Helping anglers understand how to become more efficient on the water, while putting themselves in position to catch the fish of a lifetime is what I eat, live, and breathe.
