Brief Description

St. Clair is one of the premier smallmouth fisheries in the world. However, like most anywhere during this time period, the fall transition can pose some challenges to consistently catching big smallies on Lake St. Clair proper. I just fished the PayBack Bass Open in early September and was able to hone in on a couple bites and areas that produces quality smallmouth. I'll go into details about some key baits and two areas that were loaded with good fish.
