Brief Description

This time of year on the St. Lawrence River proper, fish are fattening up (as if they could get any fatter) for the long winter. Fish tend to be difficult to find and sometimes hard to catch because of fishing pressure on this ever popular fishery. In this tip, I talk about how to locate some of the biggest bass in numbers and how to dupe some of the toughest to catch smallmouth by this time of year (after all the tournaments). I will give you a couple key areas to look, as well as some tips on lures that work really well for me, boating lots of 5-7 lb bass this past week fishing and practicing for the Doc's Tackle Rumble on the River.
